I used to stay in Hunan. I wrote a long hiking guide about Zhangjiajie (10k+ words) and kept it here for a long time, so most photos in my album are about hiking in Zhangjiajie.

Now I’m staying in Yunnan whole winter. I’m currently exploring Yunnan by electric car, so I’m not able to host guests.

My route goes from Weixi County (Deqin / Yubeng) south to Xishuangbanna. I may pass through Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La, with the goal of reaching Xishuangbanna / Jinghong (near Laos) before Chinese New Year.

As for the part about me

I Born Zhangjiajie(Avatar’s filming spot, the inspiration behind Hallelujah Mountains), studied journalism in university, and worked for several Chinese media outlets more than 8 years, during which time visited most Chinese cities.After leaving the media industry, explored China extensively by motorcycle and car, and in recent years has been living in both Changsha and Yongshun
(My international travels were more than ten years ago, so I haven’t spoken English for quite a while. Please forgive my rusty English if you don’t speak Chinese.)
