Conservation/humanitarian volunteer for as long as I am able

ABOUT ME

Living the reality not the dream now. Conservation projects and independent travel through Central & South America. Marine turtle and Jaguar Predation monitoring first, with rare bird surveys and mammal rainforest transects, local community awareness and education, and some English teaching to local community in Tortuguero & Liberia (Costa Rica). Next stop, Quito then Galapagos for more conservation work and return to Costa Rica in May to start new projects. WIll work for free, just need a bed & desayuno! ;-o)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing info´& experiences with fellow travellers, contribute to the food and cooking - my favourite bit which normally goes down well! Conversation and sharing news, views, experiences with my hosts and spreading the CS word. Any photos, research etc. which would be of value to my hosts and/or their CS friends. Just be altruistic, expect nothing in return but be pleasantly rewarded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One so far with Sandra Arguello and Karin in Heredia, San Jose. Lovely hosts, homely and welcoming...and a pleasure to cook for.

Have contacts in Quito to meet for coffee ´n chat.
