Back in Mexico and loving it. Currently based in Xalapa, Veracruz.

ABOUT ME

I quit my job in 2013 to embark on a trip of my lifetime. I finally ended up in Xalapa, Veracruz, México where I've been living since 2020.

My trip in a nutshell: Spent 3 years in Latin America (backpacking a year in South America, 6 months on a sailboat in the Caribbean, 8 months living in Costa Rica and 5 months in Panama), and then another 2 years in India and South East Asia, then back to Mexico for most of 2019. I did a brief trip around Europe / Turkey / Oman, and then COVID hit. Now, I'm back in Mexico (pais de mi corazon!).

I guess I should say a bit more about what I'm like as a person - I'm always up for an adventure. I love trying new things, meeting new people, learning about new traditions, cultures, lifestyles etc. I am a big foodie and love cooking and eating - if you do too, we'll get alone excellently!

The aim of life is to be happy, and I'm gonna be happy, or die trying!

Met really cool people and had such amazing experiences with my hosts, their friends and their families too! (: Now looking to create more great memories here!

Centres d'intérêt

Doing wild things, trying new foods, reading, hiking, cycling/biking, hanging out with friends, partying, dancing, laughing, chilling at the beach, having a good time! Recently learned to ride a motorbike and to dive, so eager to practice those too!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My attention-span is too short for movies (think goldfish). I prefer TV-serials. But recently, I've given up watching things on screens (unless they're on some form of transportation) because there are so many other things to do besides sitting half-comatose in front of a noisy screen!

All sorts of music is great! But please don't ask me to name my favourite bands or singers. I really don't have any. Really. And I am awful at identifying song names/ singer names/ band names. These things just don't stick in my mind.

Books are awesome. Love, love, loveeee reading, although I haven't had much time for it recently. Enjoy reading books that have interesting perspectives, plot twists, well-developed characters (I often fall in love with characters from books). Occasionally, chick-lit is good too ;)

I can teach you English! I'm a certified English teacher. And I speak Spanish fluently, so I can teach you a couple of phrases too!
