About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To always be the adult that kids want to play with....
ABOUT ME
I'm a northern transplant from Cleveland, OH. I followed a girl to Chicago and when that didn't work out found myself neck deep in the South! I try to hike most of the year - even when the natives say it's cold and my rollerblades are still looking for some flat terrain here in the land of hills. I love to travel, naturally, and am just as comfortable hiking in mountains as meandering through a big city. I love all kinds of food and am getting better at remembering the names of the things I like every day. I love having guests it livens up the place and is always a great experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A roommate introduced me to it and it has been great having some wonderful people stay at my house.
Interests
Bicyling (ask me about my folding bike), movies, inline skating, computers, science fiction, building card houses, getting a saxophone and taking lessons again, gadgets, science, public radio, travelling, hiking, something different, how things work, how they are made, foreign languages (I speak english and bad english fluently and can say at least 5 words in several different languages but not enough to have a conversation:),live music and theatre to which I don't go to nearly often enough. If you're excited about it and want to talk about it, I'll probably be interested.
