About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Bike, drive, eat.
ABOUT ME
I've had a myriad of experiences in my life: served in the army for two years, backpacked alone in Europe, ran a winter marathon, and made a few solo roadtrips around America.
I've met people of all shapes and sizes through these experiences, and there's definitely nothing I would trade for the many lessons I've learnt from the people I've met.
PHILOSOPHY
Try everything at least once, that's how I love to live life.
I love travelling alone, it's just therapeutic and calming knowing that the burden of joy is only upon your own shoulders.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To surf and to host as much as possible despite my impending crazy schedule!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed (before I actually found out about this site) quite a bit on my solo backpacking trip in Europe, mainly in Berlin, Vienna, Brussels, and Liverpool. The first and only time (thus far) I've surfed via CS, I crashed with a hippie couple. Was a delectable experience to say the least.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I LOVE war flicks, and I especially hold Black Hawk Down in high regard. Other notable ones that I love include Lucky Number Slevin, 300, Snatch, Thank You For Smoking, and Priceless.
Music: I love music, and this is a gross understatement. I tend to lean towards classical, cheesy 80's stuff, and all electronic genres. My rock knowledge is limited to the Rock Band store selection, so feel free to enlighten me!
Books: I used to read a lot about philosophy, military history, and linguistics (specifically Stephen Pinker and Noam Chomsky), but of late I have been indulging myself in some good ol' fantasy epics. A Song of Ice and Fire hasn't disappointed me thus far.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An impromptu skydiving session, a dinner at the French Laundry, and the sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. That and backpacking all over Europe alone and meeting people from literally all walks of life. So probably the one amazing thing I've done is life itself.
Teach, Learn, Share
Unless you have the exact same experiences and knowledge as I do (which is probably statistically impossible), I think I definitely can learn a lot from you!
