ABOUT ME

Well, I think I'm normal. I like walking, hiking, dancing, cooking, coffee, wine, beer, food and....... making lists. I really like exploring the historical side of the places I travel to and going just a bit off the beaten path.
After 15 years I am still goofy-stupid-in love with my husband. We have two kids that are cool short humans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A beautiful exchange..... We were in Gaspesie and this very tired looking older gentleman was walking back towards the main road from the dock. An artist gave him the most beautiful hand carved walking stick. The older man offered to pay a few times and the artist refused. They stood there for a moment in the sea breeze smiling at each other as the sun crept toward the horizon. Then the older man continued on.
