Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a way to meet other cultures through other people, learn new Ideas and ways of living. Make new connections for friendships, work and future traveling. Also I learn from my city as I show it to surfers and I also see Tijuana from the eyes of surfers when they see it for the first time as I learn from their point of views.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have private room for surfers or a couple but if there is more to come in, there is plenty of space at home.

I would like surfers to be conscious about sharing at this home. I want you to feel totally at home but you'll leave the house as you found it, if is going to be different should be for better (more organized or cleaner). Also I want you to be free to to make your meals from home groceries if you need so, but please be collaborative on the cooking and cleaning, and at least symbolically be cooperative to buy any supplies for home.
I'm a person with a lot of activities, work, homework and responsibilities (yes, in all differences) and at this time I'm in a hard economy. So probably I wont be able to eat or even have a coffee out of home. In any case, if you want me to show you around the city as long as I can get rid of my stuff I can keep going with you, so you are very welcome to be any help at home as you want so we can keep going right away. There is always something to do around here; home cleaning, playing or showering the dog, transferring information from one book to the computer, take pictures to items I need for work, help on handicraft for work, etc. Just a few work, it can mean a lot of help for me :)

I have a lot going on this days and I will not like to just close my home to travelers, but if you are in for sharing on both directions you are totally welcome here. If you really need a place to stay, there is no need to collaborate with money in any sense, but please, be helpful at home!
On the other hand, if you just want a local person to show you the best interesting places of Tijuana on cultural, food and night live, and you have the possibility to contribute economically, you are very welcome to do. I have a lot to work on so the experiences of the guests and travelers can be the best; I have three bicycles to be fix so we can drive around the beach, need more inflatable beds, more warm blankets for this winter for all guests, pillows, towels, chairs, etc.

I have a beautiful home near to the beach, know the best street food as fish tacos, asada tacos and someone's call "tacos varios". The best fancy restaurants to eat, the bars for locals, the best handcrafted beer and comfortable coffee places. Know where to go for art exhibitions, cultural practices, special and interesting points of the city. I have maps and information of the history of the city.
