About Me
Hi all,
It is nice to meet you and I hope below gives you an idea of who I am (starting with the fun fact that my brain likes lists haha):
- I am on couchsurfing so I can meet and make many friendships with people from different cultures and have a deeper travel experience. I am NOT on here for casual sex or dating.
- Early riser - usually up before 6:30am but I am considerate of others and try to be quiet (this also means I usually like going to bed early too).
- Outgoing introvert - I am usually up for a chat, going out or doing most activities once I have gotten to know you, but I also need quiet recharging time too. I am also happy to do things on my own as well, and will sometimes prefer to (espcially when my social battery is running low).
- LGBTIAQ+ Ally / Friendly - I am supportive and have no judgement towards anyone who identifies as part of the LGBTIAQ+ community.
- Agnostic / Spiritual - I am on my own spiritual and healing journey from being a cyclebreaker. I am also open minded, curious and like learning about other people's culture, religion, beliefs and practices. I am learning about tarot and human design, and would love to learn about anything else along these lines (e.g. astrology, yoga, shamanism, celtic, pagan or wiccan practices etc.).
- Foodie - I am a big foodie and enjoy cooking too (I will happily cook something for you). Whilst I eat most things (including meat) and have no dietary requirements, I will respect your dietary choices and requirements, and will happily follow along your diet (I can also cook some vegetarian and / or gluten-free meals, but I struggle with vegan meals, sorry).
- Love learning - Please teach me something you are passionate about. I read personal development books and am studying to become a corporate trainer and run businesses. Learning something new also seems to be what I consider fun (yes, I have to admit that I am a nerd). I love cooking classes, craft-related workshops (especially clay, ceramic or jewellery related ones), or learning about different cultures, places, history etc.
- Adrenalin-seeker / explorer - I love heights and am willing to try most height-related activities (already done ziplining and skydiving - want to do via ferrata and bungee jumping). I also like exploring caves, buildings etc. and love it when I find out something interesting.
- Animal lover and horse rider - I have grown up with cats, dogs, chickens, cows and horses. Also met a few goats and sheep along the way too. I will happily help look after your animals or pet-sit. I love horse riding too (although I would only call myself an intermediate rider).
- Not a big drinker or party-er, but I do like going out to dance, see interactive art or caberet style shows or live music.
- My no-go's - smoking, drugs and gambling. I don't do any, and prefer to not be around anyone who does.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to authentically experience each country and town I travel through, and I hope to do this with the help of local hosts who are willing to share their knowledge and culture with me.
