(Female, Nonsmoker, Extrovert) Greetings everyone! My name is Crystal originally from Chicago, but lived Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the past 11 years and now currently in SE Asia. I'm pretty new to couchsurfing and have heard many great things about it, so i am really excited to try it myself. I love traveling and my goal is to see and experience as much of this amazing planet and meet as many people as possible along the way. It is important for me to give back to this universe and in return take in and learn as much as I possibly can. I love being around new people, discovering new places, trying new foods and learning and really get a feel of new cultures, especially thru the eyes of a local. And may I add...I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach, which is another goal of mine while I travel, I plan on swimming in as many beaches as I possibly can ;)
I have an everlasting desire for the unknown and all the experiences that will lead me to new life journeys :)

I'm an artisan at heart and have a big passion for creating beautiful art and jewelry, which are a big part of my life. I own a small online boutique and design jewelry using genuine crystals. I love being outside and getting in touch with mother nature, whether it be in the ocean, a park, or even climbing a mountain...I love it all! Most of my adventures have been the spur of the moment kind...the best kind!!! Did I mention I absolutely love the beach??? Haha :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave up everything that i know to pursue my dream of travel. I've gone island hopping in Greece and then went straight to Bali right after, then Mexico for a month, solo! All were life changing experiences that only left me wanting more!
