I am Crystal or Criddle to friends and family. I had a dream of buying a one way ticket to the other side of the world and I’m finally living my dream. I’m a solo backpacker which as most know gets a little lonely at times. Iv been in Italy for the past 5 weeks and I’m not planning on leaving until the middle of June. I like to think I’m funny and I’m always trying to make others laugh.

Travelling abroad so far has made me realise/ question some things. One what are my talents like I’m funny but is laughing at your own jokes a talent? Is my singing really that good? Should I learn an instrument, why can I speak better Italian when I’m drunk, why didn’t I learn another language!? Is sarcasm a language? Why do I love food so much, my pants are getting tight does that mean I can go shopping!? Does my brain have an off switch? Why do I constantly feel my heart is breaking every time I say goodbye to a new friend. Travelling is exhausting yet so rewarding, when will I have clean clothes again?

As every other Australian I’m loud, comical and I love to drink wine in the sun, lay on the beach and explore my surroundings!

I find it difficult to create boundaries I’m like an open book after a glass of wine, recently I was named “lil nut” by an Italian man because apparently I’m nuts and I never shut up, he doesn’t understand how I always have something to say or I’m always making noise, singing, whistling, humming, dancing or just laughing in general.

I love music except the busker outside my window right now he’s really annoying 😂.
