Hi my name is Crystal and my partners name is Owen; 27 and 26 from Western Australia.

We will both be embarking on a journey to Japan in early December to learn more about the world as we haven't been out out of Australia much. We are excited to learn more about different cultures, languages, customs and food. We hope to partake in couch surfing, work aways and local communities within Japan and hopefully Europe later on in the year.

We understand that couch surfing is not a "free stay" but a way to to meet new people and exchange cultures such as cooking, language and hobbies.

We love trying new foods, games, movies, shopping, the beach and trying new things, we would love to partake in more outdoor based activities while we travel such as hiking and camping as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love marvel movies in particular but really love all sorts of movies and series.

While Owen doesn't read too much I love reading a good book every now and then and can't wait to read more while travelling.

Owen loves electronic music but listens to just about anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have just graduated with a degree in Illustration and minor in Graphic design and have been working as a Barista and sales person for the last 10 years.

Owen has recently graduated with a degree in music industry and has been working in sales for 7 years.

Teach, Learn, Share

We could teach about the english language, arts and crafts, illustration, life in Australia, cooking - I cook various foods such as pasta, curries, stirfrys etc..

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can talk about our travels - we have both visited New Zealand and different parts of Australia, I myself have also visited the Phillipines and Thaliand.
We can share our Australian way of speaking :p
While I love cooking and am very creative, Owen is good with technology as he as worked in an electronics store for a long time.
