ABOUT ME

I'm down to earth, easy going, and relaxed, the yin to my husband's yang :-). My husband and I have been living and working in Hong Kong for over a year, but I still feel like I'm constantly exploring new areas of the SAR. We love to travel around Asia, go to concerts when bands make their way to HK, hike HK's many trails, and check out new restaurants.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living for the group, and providing for those who can't provide for themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been away from CS for a few years but feel that now that I'm in HK I am in a good position to support the CS community that comes through town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Philadelphia for the first time over 5 years ago with the sweetest hosts and surfed in Nashville and Austin on a cross country road trip. I have only hosted once in Washington DC for three guys who sent out an emergency request and had a blast showing them around for the night.

I love jam bands, bluegrass, country, and rock. I love to read fiction, Anna Karenina is my favorite book. I like to laugh or cry in movies, not be scared or grossed out.

I danced on stage with one of my favorite bands for the stroke of midnight.

I work in democracy and governance and have strong opinions about women's empowerment and women in politics. I'd love to learn about you and where you're from.
