About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To Jake the entire world.
ABOUT ME
I'm always busy making Battlestar Galactica Beats.
I love cognitive science, and am pursuing a career in research. One of my favorite things to do is have bs philosophy arguments about things that don't really matter. I care very little for things that do matter. I like to travel as simply as possible, as a man of simple taste. I'd rather explore an area of town unfamiliar to most, but beloved by those that know it.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for Rob Fabianski.
My philosophy boils down to the basic concept of the golden rule. As a consequentialist, I may bend the rules, but only in the name of what I think is right.
At the end of the day, I just want to enjoy life as much as possible and experience all that I can. Thats a nice way of saying I like to party.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined so I haven't necessarily done anything yet... But I shall!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've had several couch surfers in our house and I loved it, so I figured it was about time I made a profile for myself.
Interests
I'm a vegetarian though I don't really eat all that healthy.
I'd like to one day be a professor of psychology and conduct research on moral cognition and beliefs.
I fancy myself a drummer, but I have no band.
I like most things Japanese, which roughly translates to "I'm a nerd."

Music, Movies, and Books
All of them.
To be more specific, my music tastes vary from classic rock to rap, but for the most part I like indie music/ dance and lounge music. Some favorites are royksopp, LCD soundsystem, the knife, thievery corp, and, of course, the beatles
Movie wise, I like dramas and dark comedies. I would die for hayao miyazaki, and love all studio ghibli movies. I would be leaving out a lot if I didn't mention my love of sci fi. I also love watching movies of my drunk room mate acting like an idiot.
My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Stephen King, and Neil Gaiman. I'm getting into Haruki Murakami recently too. I'd be lying if I said I didn't read a lot of geeky nonfiction neuroscience and philosophy stuff but who cares about that?
