An avid traveler, I am a Hong Kong-based freelance journalist, writer and political commentator specializing in SE Asian politics, international affairs, development issues and environmental governance. I hold an MSc in Global Energy and Climate Policy and a BA in Cultural Studies from SOAS, University of London and The Chinese University of Hong Kong respectively.

Inspired by my on-field reportage and volunteer experience in the Philippines, the Malaysian Borneo and Kenya, my interests involve clean technology transfer, political transition and sustainable development in the Asia Pacific, as well as marine environmental governance.
