Like most people here, I love traveling. In college, I did three semesters of study abroad (Martinique, Senegal, and Japan) and then did two years of teaching English (China, France). I've been putting up with short vacations ever since I got a long-term job back in the US, but now I'm able to do a five-week-long working vacation in Martinique and very excited about it.

Back at home, I get my fix of livening up the daily grind by taking various classes at local park districts and community colleges (I started ice skating a few years ago and plan to compete soon!) and attending meetups (mostly for language learning, French and Japanese). Always trying to expand my horizons.

To meet others to hang out with! I'm solo, and I like that, but it's also nice to talk with people and do things together.

Intereses

I like to learn new things about a variety of topics. Would love to return to school but $$$ is holding me back for the moment. I learn a lot from books and podcasts.
