ABOUT ME

I like everything that is creative and anything that I can do with my hands. Pottery, painting, cooking, drawing, DIY repairs, gardening, photography, auto repair, you name it. I also like anything that involves the use of my body (i.e., yoga, pilates, hiking, etc). I also like languages. I speak English and I am working on speaking better French. I am also learning Catalan and Italian. So, if anyone would like to give me lessons...:). I also like to travel. I have been to Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, England, Germany, Mexico, and 44 of the 50 states in the USA. I am also planning to move to Catalunya and buy a flat somewhere in the Empordà.

Now, my primary interest is photography. I am self taught but I would like to work with a professional to learn some tricks :)

Many people have hosted me and I have enjoyed every experience. I highly recommend CouchSurfing to anyone who wants to meet new people and see new places.

I like yoga (ashtanga and iyengar), music (all kinds), singing (all songs), dancing (salsa, merengue, flamenco, sevillanas, mostly), photography and cooking (all kinds of food especially spanish, mexican, french, italian, greek, cuban, moroccan, senegalese, thai, vietnamese, chinese, japanese, korean, creole, portuguese, and brazilian). Favorite Movies: Au revoir Les Enfants, Die Hard, The Godfather I and II (III sucked!!), Jaws, Cousin/Cousine, The Color Purple...the list is getting too long.

Favorite Music: No favorite type..I like all kinds of music (Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Aalyiah, Enur, Shakira, Victor Manuelle, Wyclef Jean, Usher, Lauren Hill, the Killers, Paramore, Jamiroquai, Gwen Stefani, Alejandro Sanz, Fugees, Beastie Boys, Amy Winehouse, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and so on, and so on) but my favorite band is Red Hot Chili Peppers

Favorite Books: I like to read everything from the Chronicles of Narnia, The Joy Luck Club, Harry Potter 1-7 to Wicked: The life and times of the wicked witch of the west. I like french books as well.

I have been fortunate to see, go to and do many amazing things. The things that stand out most in my mind are Cles (Italy), Bahia Honda (Florida, USA), Sea of Cortez (Baja California, Mexico), Lake Lugano (Switzerland), Sequoia National Forest (California, USA), Sierra de la Cazorla (Spain), Gijon (Spain), Pena de Francia (Spain), Baix Empordà and Alt Empordà (Catalunya).
