About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently seeking for a permanent job, however I'm also planning my future trip.
ABOUT ME
Hi all! My name is Crystal and you can call me just that, or if you love my internet alias you can call me Jude as well.
I am a fresh graduate and majoring in History. Maybe some of you wonder why on earth I took that major upon graduating college. I found history is simply amazing and it's the only way to construct the human being. I am very curious about everything so I love to find out how people interact in the past. That's how I gotten into history and so far, I'm loving every single bit of it.
I also love to travel! Last year (2012) was my traveling year because I had the amazing opportunity to travel every three months. However, this year I decide to take a little break because I need to find a steady job before going back to the traveling world. But I still go to several neighboring countries once in a while such as Singapore or Malaysia.
History, travel, what else? Oh, I also love volunteering because it balances my soul. I love meeting new people and I think volunteering is one of the ways to meet new people. Currently I'm being active in a community called Komunitas Jelajah, it's a community that makes programs for schools to go on field trips. I join that community because I love children and I love spending time with them.
For my future plans in life... I want to be an educator. I want to build schools for children to teach them the true meaning of plurality and tolerance. I also want to be a lecturer, so yeah you can say I'm pretty much academic!
I'm a city girl at heart. I love going to big cities, exploring parks, museums, local hangouts, restaurants, bars, shopping arcades. However, when I feel bored of the bustling city, I love going to the beach and relax. I'm a beach girl and I prefer beach almost all the time to mountains.
Besides history, my other favorite thing is language. I love languages, I've been learning a few languages this past year besides English. Currently I'm learning Dutch and German. I love languages because it's what connects us and I wanna connect and understand people. Besides, being fluent in many languages give you an impression of being a language geek, right?
