Travelling!! Experiencing as much as I can as a local would and meeting as many random people as I can, anywhere and everywhere!!

ABOUT ME

I used to be a really shy person then I backpacked alone and the rest is history. I still don't know what I "want to do" with my life but I do know that travelling makes me happy so thats what I'm doing. There's something exciting about knowing that my next stop is somewhere I haven't been before, somewhere different, a place where nobody knows my name. I love the fact that when I'm travelling I'm living for the now. To wake up and be like..what am I going to do today, who am I going to meet to day and what am I going to experience. I love hearing stories, mainly life stories and I love getting to know people for who they really are. I have heard some amazing stories from taxi drivers. I heard some really amazing stories from drivers in India:) I also have a love for music, going to see music, anything soulful, piano, horns, saxophone, jazz, hip-hop, I appreciate all types. Im the chick standing there with a cheesy grin on my face:)
I would describe myself as a pretty chill person. I just like to cruise and go with the flow. I believe in giving gratitude for life and I'm a very grateful person, I'm extremeley grateful for all I have and all I experienced and still experience in life. I believe everything I have learnt in the past is a product of who I am. I was lucky enough to have grown up and still growing up with a wonderful, alternative healing mother who has installed so many of her good qualities into me. And one thing she taught me was to always pay your own way! I love to cook so chances are I will be offering to cook you some yummy food:)

PHILOSOPHY

I honestly believe that everything that happens is for a reason. I believe you should treat people the way you would like to be treated. I believe what you give out is what you get back in life. I always look on the positive side of things and I believe you gain a lot in life by being open minded. Wether you are rich or poor, healthy or sick, fat,or skinny, ugly or pretty, tall or short, have big feet or small feet, black or white, and no matter where your from we are all human beings and we are all the same. Treat people with kindness and we will all be happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just moved to Toronto from Perth, Western Australia in July 2013 and unfortunately I am not in the position to host. I've been busy looking for jobs and places to live so there hasn't been much opportunity for me to explore this amazing city. However I love this website and how it connects people together which can form good friendships and am down to meet real, genuine people. If your a local or new to the city like me and want to hang out, feel free to get in contact:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still quite new to couch surfing. Usually I'm staying in hostels when travelling or sometimes renting a room off airbnb but the things I love about couch surfing is the fact that you get the opportunity to stay in a home of a local/resident who are so proud of their city that they want to share this with you. Also to have an option to discover places you might not have seen other wise is pretty amazing. And it defiantly breaks you out of your confort zone which is great too. It's just A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!!

Interests

Travelling, learning from other peoples cultures, attending music events, living life, learning from my experiences and peoples experiences, challenging myself, stepping outside my comfort zone, spending time at the beach, hanging with good quality people, writing, laughing, eating healthy food, keeping active, house parties, the sunshine and so much more good stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music but I listen mostly to soul, hip-hop(real hip-hop, just ask me haha), jazz, R&B, mowtown.
I like reading but I lose interest easily so always up for reccomodations!
Im into all kinds of movies except I can't handle anything to scary or violent otherwise i can't sleep haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything I have seen and done in life no matter what it is, it is a product of my future and me bettering myself, so it's all amazing. Life is amazing!
But travelling alone is pretty amazing experience for me. And sky diving!!
