Exploring the US Southwest, Mexico City, and preparing to head up to Alaska for another summer.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a seasonal tour director in Alaska and the Yukon Territory leading tour groups on their summer adventures. I grew up in a small farm town in Pennsylvania but always itched to get out!

After going to college in Chicago for theater design I embarked on a crazy couchsurfing road trip for three months across the US, I was hooked! Also amazed at people's generosity. It inspired me to host when and where I could, leading to a bunch of amazing friendships.

I have since lead a semi-nomadic lifestyle and worked and traveled, traveled and worked. I don't like bragging, but I'm happy to exchange travel stories when we meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and surfed with more couchsurfers than i could count since 2007. hopefully my references and number of couchsurfing friends offer some insight to the number of positive experiences i have had.

i couldn't tell you if i like surfing or hosting more. i love surfing for obvious reasons, but hosting has been one of my greatest joys.

I hope to be an easy an appreciative guest. I mostly want to be flexible to what you are willing to offer. If you want to hang out with me, show me around, or help decide how to spend my time in your city, I will accept happily. I am also just as happy to let you keep your busy schedule if you are unable to hang out and I will come and go quietly and cleanly.

We may also be able to exchange recipes and cooking tips as I love to cook and eat.
