I'm a former high school English teacher so I spent a lot of time trying to convince teenagers that reading is cool. Now I work in healthcare.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in karma. I try my best to be a good person. I think education is the key to a successful life and that means more than just academics. There is always something to learn!

I love meeting new people, especially travelers! There's always something new to learn from one another and I think that is what makes the world go round. If we could all learn from each other rather than discriminate, I think we'd find world peace.

Oldies, words, books, trying new things that I'm not afraid of, thrift stores, tea, coffee, exploring cities, cooking (or experimenting), arts and crafts, movie nights, board games, learning how to be an adult, etc.

I spent a month in 2012 traveling in Vietnam and it was one of the most wonderful experiences!

Over the summer of 2015, I spent two months traveling through Western Europe and loved every second of it. It was such a great learning experience and now I can't wait to see what else the world has to offer. :)
