About Me
Shy, clumsy, stubborn: it isn't the best way to start an introduction, but people aren't made of only qualities. People are also made of weakness, experiences, stories.
I'm not perfect (and I don't pretend to be) but I'm a (day)dreamer, open-minded girl who wants to see, to discover, to try, to live. I'm better at listening and writing than at talking, but I can become very chatty when I'm talking about something I love. I love observing, but don't like to be at the center of the attention. I prefer focusing on little things more than on a spectacular scenery. I'm devoted to my usual hobbies, but I'm always looking for new ones.
I don't suffer racists, homophobics and everyone tries to hurt someone because he's different. I've never liked to be an extremist, I always prefer to be neutral or moderate, I love pacific debates on almost everything (excepting for politics and economics, I'm not very interested and I've not the basis to have a nice talk about them, but if you want to know it, I support an extremely utopian anarchy. We could talk about that ;) )
I'm studying Biology in order to become a marine biologist (dream of a life...or at least, dream of my last 12 years!), but I also love art, fantasy (love, love, LOVE mermaids!! *__* ), gothic, literature and so on.
Writing my third novel, hoping this time I'll see it published :D I collect little fairy statues (well..not so little :D), the only shops where I can spend a lot of money are libraries, every shop where I can buy cool notebooks and gel pens, and gothic/fantasy shops. I don't like shopping (not interested in dresses and shoes...please, if you can, don't take me to a shoe store: I'll look for somewhere to sit and I'll wait there with an extreme suffering puppy gaze :D). I don't like very much dancing . I love watching people dancing, it doesn't bore me.
Quote from my Philosophy book:
"In fact, Romantics, hardly bearing the finite and despising all things that are habitual and mediocre, strive for escaping the routine and for living abnormal experiences, that can produce strong and overwhelming emotions. Because of this, Romantics prefer all things that are magnificent, atypical, irregular, far, mysterious, magic, fairy, primordial, nocturnal, gloomy, spectral etc.- that is everything that, being beyond usual, can offer different and unknown feelings"
I apologize for the bad translation :D but that's me ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing could help me change my visions, my life and myself. I've always been (too) cautious and I lost a lot of opportunities. I want to prove that I've grown up, and I want to learn everything I can. I think I'm ready now to meet new people and to teach (if I can) something too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm in love with musicals, but I listen to different kinds of music. I don't like focusing on a certain genre. In my playlists there is pop, metal, rap, hip-hop, classic, rock, and so on.
I love fantasy books (The Lord of Rings *___* ), but my favorite book is "The angel's game" (C.R.Zafòn); I recently started reading comics and manga, I'm totally in love with Baudelaire and Jules Verne. I like Bambarén's books and literature in general.
There are a lot of movies I love, such as "V for vendetta", "Dead poets society", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Only lovers left alive", "Dragon trainer" "The beauty and the beast" "Mulan"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding a horse in a wood and on the beach of Tuscany
