ABOUT ME

Wow, this profile needs an update. Since my cooking tour in Italy I have been to Spain,Turkey, India and Rwanda! Today I booked a ticket to Morocco! Let the next adventure begin!

I just booked a partially guided tour and cooking classes to Italy! I'm super excited to learn about a piece of my culture.

I would really love meeting new people and locals of a place I visit. Where the must go places are where to visit that is off the beaten track . Scrumptious food and dessert a plus! I Love food, great food, new food any food. I will try anything at least once. If I did anything else with my life I would want to open a restaurant!

Now I have the best job I could hope for... I'm a professional photographer. I get paid to take pictures of gorgeous food, dance and eat cake at weddings and jump around with little ones. I'm too lucky!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can only be a tour guide as I have family staying at my place. I would still love to be a tourists with you! I LOVE Santa Barbara and I have lived here 14+ years so I kinda know a bit. If you need a ride from the airport, a lift to the train station ideas for a great beach or wine tasting trip, etc, I'm your girl!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about this site through a friend who apparently has a friend here. What an awesome idea. I have done a good amount of travel and have met a lot of great people along the way who were kind enough to give me a couch to sleep on! I know this sounds a bit cheesy but I want to return that favor. Organized couch surfing! That's awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Rwanda I went gorilla trekking through the rain forest! We trekked up hill for 3hours and we came across the Tribe it was unreal! A gorilla came swing out of a tree and had is little snack arms length away from me! It really didn't hit me until after the trek back how magical and once in a life time this moment truly was!Oh and that the Silver back Gorilla was staring at me like I was lunch!
