About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To boldly go where no man has gone before.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in N.Y. city, but have lived in small towns. You can find fun things to do anywhere if you have the right mindset and good people around you. I love the outdoors and am always open to new experiences. After all that's what life is about.
PHILOSOPHY
Travelling is like a book that once you start reading you can't stop. The difference is the book never ends. So much to see and so little time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Getting involved where I can. Hosting, travelling, acting as a tour guide, and going to events.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being introduced to CS by roommates, I got to experience hosting first. It was an incredible way to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I have now traveled with CS and loved it. Staying with people that know the cities makes the trip that much better. What can I say, I have loved my CS experiences.
Interests
If it's outdoors and active, I am up for it. I'm a big fan of mountain sports, from hiking and climbing to snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Open to a variety of genres of music, from folk, to electronic, to jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a bear face to face on the top of a mountain and sharing an understanding that we won't hurt each other. An amazing rush, but certainly scary.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't look a black bear in the eyes. Just close your eyes and say there's no place like home three times. If that doesn't work, return the ruby red slippers when you get out of the hospital.
