CURRENT MISSION

Learn to be happily stationary. I've returned home after a year of traveling with the goal of staying in CA for a while. I'm by no means putting aside adventuring...just doing it from a more familiar base camp.

ABOUT ME

I love being outdoors! I'm all for any water related activity, be it white water rafting or failing to surf or just hanging out on the river with a good beer. I'm also a fairly active rock climber and am eternally grateful to all my climbing buddies for pushing me to go to the gym regardless of my mood. Climbing is the best mental medicine!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty chill, and (in most things) am content to go with the flow. I try to approach problems with the confidence that everything will work out and the universe will provide--sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't.

I am a rock climbing, dancing, swimming nature freak who wishes she had the means to explore all her interests. If there's something new to try or learn I'll be there. Who says my education has to stop after college? As cliche as it sounds the world is my classroom and I intend to give and receive as much as it will let me.

I'm a big fan of the fantasy genre, sci-fi, other fiction. Currently reading and loving the Sword of Shadows series. Also just picked up Shantaram and fell into the magical world of Bombay (I soooo want to travel again!)

As far as music goes, I'll listen to almost everything. I love dancing to blues, swing/electro swing, anything else that has a good beat. Favorite band of the moment would have to be the California Honeydrops

SCUBA diving certification on the Ningaloo Reef in Australia (where two humpback whales swam within 15ft of our boat!), followed by a spectacular month of exploring the coastal areas and dive sites of Malaysia
