ABOUT ME

--- Gonna be on hiatus for a bit since baby is almost here and the guest room is now her room. We won't be taking visitors until next Summer 2010. ---

PLEASE SEE OUR NOTE ABOUT THE ROOM AND THE RULES.

We live with our dog Boomer in Santa Cruz County. I hesitate to say "live" because we are rarely there. We are usually out training for triathlons, camping, mountain biking, skiing (if there is snow, of course) hanging out with our friends, and traveling, traveling, traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate through offering our guest bedroom and also couch surfing, too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couch surfed in Vancouver earlier this year and had a blast. We stayed in a couch surfer's guest bedroom and another couch surfer took us snow shoeing. Great time!

We've also has the opportunity to host a few surfers in our own home and to hang out with some who were passing through town.

Intereses

Traveling, reading super good books, racing in (but not training for) triathlons, traveling, making tasty vegetarian food, traveling, and hundreds of other things. Like many of you I am not a big fan of working... I only work so I can pay for my activities!

I've done lots of amazing things but my #1 coolest was riding with the Thunderbirds in a F-16. Insanity! I also swam with sharks in Belize, bungee jumped, did an Ironman triathlon and actually got third place in my age group, climb the ruins at Tikal in Guatemala, took the train across the whole of USA, did an upside down flip in a old Steerman wing-walker plane, was a television reporter, etc. etc.
