关于我

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and share!

ABOUT ME

Hello Everyone! My name is Mike, I'm a self-employed window washer in Seattle. My girlfriend and I both work the Spring, Summer and Fall, then travel in the Winter. I've made travel a priority in my life, and the rest of it just fell together.

I love travel because it challenges me every single day.

PHILOSOPHY

Freedom; be good to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet :)

At home we host people all the time, but never have through the website.

Though theoretically lone guy travelers find hosts, I've yet to experience it!

兴趣

Reading (fiction and non fiction), photography, writing in my journal, listening to good music, eating, talking, learning.

I also like sitting in crowded areas, watching the sea, looking at the sky at night, standing in the wind, swimming in freshwater, laughing.

I think a lot about life, the value of it and what we spend our time doing. I'm interested in philosophy, how people live, good food. Now that I think about it, food is probably my favorite thing.

How to Wash a Window

You need:
- Water (warm, with a little soap)
- A sponge or wet rag
- Two dry rags
- A squeegee

Dip the sponge in the warm water and get rid of any drips. If you´re inside, put one of the dry rags at the bottom of the window to protect the window sill. Soap up the window with the sponge, make sure you scrub well, try to get all the little stuff off the window at this point. Take your squeegee and start at the top left corner, all the way to the edge, squeegee facing down. With even pressure in one steady motion (fast or slow, but never stop), pull the squeegee down to the bottom of the window. If there´s room, bring it all the way to the bottom edge. If there´s a sill, bring it down within a couple inches of the bottom. Always wipe the squeegee with a dry rag between pulls, then put the squeegee back at the top, overlapping the dry area by an inch or so. Repeat the vertical squeegeeing until the entire window is squeegeed. If you had to leave a little water at the bottom, finish it with a horizontal stroke. Finally, take one of the dry rags and wipe around the edges. Your window is now washed!
