My name is Deepti and I am from India. 

I am Corporate lawyer by profession and nature lover in person.

Lately I have realized that life is much more than 9-5 job and I really want to make memories and gain experience from roads less travelled. l want to explore the places around and experience life on the other side.

I have recently started travelling covering most of the Indian states and now I intend to travel cross borders. With my limited life experience , I have learnt that at the end it's our memories that stay till the end and we should make the most of it. I love to interact with people from different cultures and appreciate the differences. These interactions offer an opportunity to a quick peek into the other side of the world which amazes you at times.  

I’m positive and highly enthusiastic about life but initially you might find me awkward as I take some time to jell in well. To me simple pleasures are nature walk, sun sets (I can't wake up to witness an early sun rise). if given a choice between mountains and beaches I am a mountain person but that doesn't mean I will miss any opportunity to go to a beach.  I absolutely love a good laugh, and I'm more of a social animal but that doesn't mean I can't go solo. Most of my trips have been solo!

I love talking, and sharing ideas about absolutely everything.

P.S. I am a vegetarian and non-drinker but I am good at giving company and high on life anyway ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to use it as a traveler to hangouts with people from different cultures and learn from them. I feel like Couchsurfing is all about sharing, which is what life is about.

Anything which lives up to the mood works for me. Books are best distraction; however now a days I am struggling to even read few pages in a go. I am not a movie buff but can watch anything including short web series..

Btw, my latest obsession are Korean and Japanese web series. I dont understand much but watch with subtitles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Overnight, I decided to shift my base from north to west part of India and it has been one of the best decisions I took.
