CURRENT MISSION
To SEE and SKI the world!! and meet great people along the way
ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old. I was born and grew up in the Australian alps. I have a British mother and German/Ukrainian father. I completed my university degree and have since been travelling and enjoying life to the fullest. I spent some time backpacking around Europe, working as a nanny and learning German, building igloos in the Swiss Alps, and now ski instructing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So, I am currently working as a ski instructor in Japan and wishing to see the country a bit before I leave. I heard from a friend that she had her couch available and she told me all about couch surfing and I instanly loved the concept. Because I follow winters from northern to southern atmospheres every 6 months I haven't had a chance yet to get into it. Now I am ready. I am hoping to find some interesting people with whom I can stay here in Japan, and then hope to reverse the favor one day when they, or other similar people come to Australia (or where ever I am).
Interests
Skiing, travelling, hiking, world politics, bike riding, playing the flute, learning languages, meeting new people, cooking and enjoying vegetarian food and good wine and good conversation with interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunset from the top of the Mannlichen in Switzerland. The Lauterbrunnen valley dropping down from one side, Grindelwald to the other, and the awe inspiring glacier mountains - Jungfrau, Monch, and famous North Face of the Eiger changing colours every second and making you feel two inches tall.
