About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living the dream

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in Western Romania, on the border with Hungary. As a child, I was fortunate enough to have parents who loved traveling and took me and my brother with them on every trip.
After high school, I moved to the USA where I attended college. I graduated in May 2010 and then lived in Beijing for a year, working as an English teacher. I recently received my MA in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam.
I am friendly, open-minded and curious to meet new people. I love traveling, reading, going out with friends, learning new languages, scuba diving, movies and anything that is new.
At the moment I'm looking for the next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much anything, as long as it sounds good. I also love music from the 60s and 70s, such as the Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Mamas & the Papas, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground.

Books: anything about politics, religion, science (as long as I can understand it...). A few of my favorites are "Journey of Man" by Spencer Wells, any book by Richard Dawkins, "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoyevsky, "The Three Musketeers" by Dumas, Dr. Seuss.

Movies: Kill Bill (and anything else Quentin Tarantino has ever made!), Jeux d'enfants, Das Leben der Anderen, District 9, J.J. Abrams movies and shows, and many many many more.

TV shows: Game of Thrones, LOST, Weeds, Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Family Guy, South Park, How I Met Your Mother, The Borgias, Once Upon a Time, Heroes, etc.
