I was born and raised in Hungary and moved to Luxembourg when I was 25 in order to make my dream come true and travel the world. Now I work in legal, however, at the university in Budapest I studied Marketing and PR and also Portuguese language and literature. I have a cat called Dominic Decoco - which must sound familiar for those who like the movies of Quentin Tarantino - and my two favourite things to do are photography and reading. In my spare time I also like to wonder about what's the purpose of life and how I could get the most out of it. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me traveling is everything. Exploring this beautiful and diversified globe country by country, culture by culture. I love meeting new people and make new friends. I'm a really social person, even in traveling alone my favourite part is the possibility to meet people on the road. I'm not a loner, I prefer to share the experience and have nice conversations in the meantime.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost every kind of music and I love to discover new tunes so my favorite feature on Spotify is Discover Weekly. However the best band in history is Led Zeppelin forever.

I read a hell of a lot, my favourite authors are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Alessandro Baricco and Joanne Harris. Among my favorite books there are some classics like Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights but I'm really into contemporary literature as well like Goldfinch and The Shadow of the Wind. And above all I love Harry Potter.

Regarding movies I like literally everything - with the exception of horror movies. From thrillers through dramas and romance to gangster and comedy movies I watch everything - which is above 7 on IMDB. My favourite genre though is somewhere between Adaptation (the one with Meryl Streep), Casino and Shutter Island.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a hiking trip to Argentina and Chile and saw the most beautiful places ever. Climbed Mount Fitz Roy, did the W trek in the Torres del Paine National Park, visited the Perrito Moreno glacier, the only glacier in the world that grows instead of dwindling, went to see penguins and got stuck on Tierra del Fuego due to the 200km/h wind. This trip was definitely the most amazing thing I've ever done - so far. :)
