I from the beautiful Northern Rivers of new south wales where I grew up in the bush - a few hours from famous Byron Bay. At the moment I am taking time out from work and other commitments to get out of Australia and explore a bit more of this vast world we live in.

While travelling I want to connect with awesome people - like minded and different - and have local experiences. I like slow travel so I get the chance to get to know the people and places I visit.
My favourite thing to do while travelling is just explore parks and streets, and cute, funky little cafes and bars.

Like most people, I'm multifaceted, and always changing. I am friendly, open and up for new experiences and connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am travelling and will be looking to stay with hosts in the places I visit.... I see myself as a bit of an informal couch surfing host. I have always had lots of friends and travelers stay at my house and I like to share my local knowledge of special places and great things to do in the places I live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I been couchsurfing while travelling this year and in 2009 - it has been amazing! Meeting locals totally changed my whole travelling experience. I have had a whole different experience of places and have built connections that have lasted years!

Interests

I love the bush and nature. Cities are amazing but I have my limit then I crave natural places. Even when I'm in the city I'm always seeking trees.

Social and environmental justice... I think we really need to do a lot more to change this world on so many important issues.

Dancing to funky music... I especially love dancehall and reggae, and booty electro.

Listening to music.

Making art.

I love Australian movies - Australia makes great movies. Brilliant, funny, sad, and real. I also love action movies.

Resource books on topics I'm interested in, and fantasies... harry potter, the mists of avalon and obernwtyn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around Greece with my sister and our good friend, free camping under the stars on beaches on heaps of different islands.

I like learning bits of the languages where I stay and always enjoy someone who is eager to help me :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and lots of gratitude... and the offer of hosting people in Australia if you ever visit and would like a beautiful, though pretty isolated, bush experience ;-) where I live is surrounded by incredible rivers beaches, forests and mountains.
