About Me
***IMPORTANT***
Don't message me if it's with less than two weeks' heads up or if it's for more than one person. I'll delete the message and not even read it.
CURRENT MISSION
Awesome experiences so far and met some pretty great people.
ABOUT ME
They'd say I have big eyes and a big smile. And that I'm always quoting the latest thing I read.
PHILOSOPHY
There's always something to learn in every experience. Whether or not our eyes and ears are open to it is a different story, but the lesson's always there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and meeting people, and getting the "insider scoop" to how cities and towns really are.
Interests
Bit of an adrenaline junkie here, whether it's zipping around on my motorcycle, jumping out of airplanes or snorkeling with sea turtles. I'm also an avid reader of longform essays, probably watch a bit too much of "Law and Order: SVU", and love hanging out with my bearded dragon and two gerbils.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- never a favourite. I relate to different movies at different times in my life. (but The Bridges of Madison County gets played pretty regularly)
Music- definitely oldies and classical, but open to anything as long as it has substance and quality.
Books- a little ashamed to say I've gotten away from books ever since the iPhone was invented, but I make up for it by staying on top of news and culture by way of newspapers and longform essays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw the archbishop of Vienna conducting Christmas mass in St. Stephen's Cathedral. I'm not a religious person but I was definitely struck by the atmosphere in the church.
Every time I'm in a plane, that takes my breath away a little bit. I understand the basic physics of it, but there's something almost magical about that enormous boat just...lifting off into the air.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the people I learn the most from are those with views opposing mine who can defend them articulately. I'm not going to learn much from people who have experienced much the same as I have, so I look for the differences whilst remembering that the essences are similar.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation over coffee or beer.
