ABOUT ME

Let's see, what is there to say about me....I'm an enthusiastic traveller, lover of dance, and passionate about meeting and getting to know other people. I can't believe I haven't joined CouchSurfer earlier!! :) I'm the second oldest of 5, was homeschooled the entirety of my educational career before college, and loved every minute of it. I care deeply about my family and love making new friends!!

PHILOSOPHY

Wow, what a deep question to answer in such a tiny little box. I guess that, in a nutshell, I live my life the way that I do because I love Jesus, and thus all of my other passions and interests in people and things springs from that. I want to, as Thoreau put it, "live deliberately. To live deep and suck the marrow out of life and not, when I have come to die, discover that I have not lived."

I love ballroom dancing, travelling, getting to know people and hearing their stories, music, movies - although I wouldn't consider myself a movie buff by any stretch of the imagination - playing sports, and doing scary things....within reason. Also, I love to laugh :).

Music: pretty much anything except rap and gospel.
Movies: I like movies that make me laugh or think. I can't handle horror or crude movies. Chick flicks are my guilty pleasure :).

I only get to pick one??? Well, I suppose that ziplining through the cloud forest of a volcanic mountain in Costa Rica was pretty amazing.... :)

Well, like the delightful little description to this section that I just read, everyone's a teacher. I have lived in and travelled to many different countries in just a few short years, which has expanded my world and made me grow personally at an astonishing rate, something which I'm looking forward to sharing with others!! :)
