I'm Tyler! I've worked for over a decade as a professional pianist, composer, and music director, which has taken me to six continents and afforded me some incredible experiences. I love seeing the world through the eyes of others and gaining new perspectives, and I'm especially stoked about meeting up and breaking bread with new friends.

I believe that we all have the responsibility to create personal meaning through our interactions and interests, so I live for new people and experiences. I'm excited to connect with interesting new people and share space!

I first Couchsurfed on a 3-month, 15,000 mile cross-country road trip (albeit, through my traveling companion's CS.org account), and the connections and experiences gained through couchsurfing absolutely made the entire trip. I spent a long time living overseas, but now I'm back in the US for a while and doing a bit more traveling around, so I'm excited to meet and connect with more awesome couchsurfers.
