CURRENT MISSION
See and Enjoy Ireland
ABOUT ME
I just moved to Dublin after four months of backpacking around eastern Europe. Here, I work as a bicycle mechanic for a local shop in Dublin. I grew up in the US in many states, and attended highschool in Japan.
I will be in Dublin for at least six months; after that I imagine I'll get on to bicycle touring!
The four months prior to my move here were spent traveling eastern Europe--it was a blast! There still so much more out there for me to see, and I have a lot of tentative plans for the coming year.
I love seeing local collectives, cooperatives, and community centers.
I studied ethical philosophy and Russian studies in university in Florida.
I cannot wait to meet new people and meet new folks in the couchsurfing community--including you!!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been quite a while since I hosted any couch surfers, and my houses have always been so full of non-couch-surfing traveling friends that I don't get to do this much.
When I travel I always seek to use couchsurfing.
Intereses
Biking, swimming, russian literature, contemporary literature, feminist, ethical and radical philosophy, hiking, travel, sewing, cooking... and all things good.
I am vegan and love to share ideas and recipes and talk about the ethics of diets. I am super happy host/surf with non-vegans and am open to talking or not talking about our dieting habits.

Algo increíble que he hecho
So many things! I haven't lived in one place for more than two years almost my whole life. I've been all around the US, and travelled a bit of Japan and had the opportunity to see such amazing and subtle cultural differences and great people. It's been a blast!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I'm a bicycle mechanic! I can fix your bike, we can debate the utility of 650C wheels and the state of the cycling industry.
I sew and I draw, and I am really interested in learning more artsy skills.
