My name is Sandra, living with my partner Simon in Barcelona already for 17 years. I am german, bulgarian - Simon is scotisch and even though these are all cultures within europe, we still have to live with little culture clashes every day :-)

We joined couchsurfing quite a while ago (10 years ago, to be exact :-)) ... in the meantime, we became a little older, bought a house , had 2 children and are feeling sometimes a bit overwhelmed by all this responsability :-)

And even though traveling right now seems not quite the same with small children ( at least the sponatious and irresponsible version of the hichhicking travelling :-) I still really seem to NEED it and try to get moving whenever possible.

And one way to travel without actually moving at all is to have a couchsurfers over :-)
Its not allways possible, since we have much less time these days, hand-ins for work or an ill child ... but when there is a moment, it would be great.

Maybe we could not give you the grand tour of Barcelona while you're here, but a chat in the evening with a glas of wine before you want to go out should be perfectly doable.

We have a very beautiful flat in the center of Barcelona with enough space.
I have the studio I work from here in the flat as well, while Simon has his studio close by.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I did a bungee-jump, my body thought it was dying ... when it realised it actually will not die, I think I was flooded with hormones & the happiest person on earth, loving every minute of it. This feeling did last for a good few month after the jump ;-) Maybe it never completely gone away.
