To travel the world by bicycle

ABOUT ME

I gave up my job in June 2009 to travel the world by bicycle. I started from Calais and travelled through 20 countries over 14 months covering over 10,000 miles. In 2011 I spent three months cycling in Morocco, Spain and France and then another three months cycling from Canada to Mexico. In 2012 I cycled along the Danube and around the Black Sea. Last summer (2015) I cycled from Estonia to Netherlands.

By hosting whenever I am not traveling myself and by staying with hosts when I am cycling through cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Sofia I stayed with Petya and Ivo and they couldn't have made me more welcome.
In Ankara I stayed with Dawn and we got on famously. similar age, similar interests. We keep in touch.

I have hosted a number of couch surfers and all with positive experiences. It is wonderful to bring people with such different cultures into your home and learn more about the world
