I think one of the most important things in the world is to see the world. Admittedly, I haven't seen much of it yet, in the grand scheme of things, but I live for the next opportunity to travel to a new place. I own my own business. I'm a dog mom. I think animals are cooler than people for the most part. I love eating good food and having great conversations with interesting humans. I get bored if life starts to have too much sameness day to day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want and need to step out of my social comfort zone and interact with strangers more. I work alone and sometimes I get too comfortable being an introvert.

Music, Movies, and Books

Weird indie stuff that most people don't enjoy very much, old country, bluegrass, instrumental, blues. I don't watch many movies, and even less that stick with me, but Neverending Story will always be my favorite. Lately I do more word puzzles than reading, but when I do read I like easy fiction series books, like Throne of Glass, Kingkiller Chronicles, Harry Potter, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've driven cross country several times, but once I did it alone, staying in parks along the way, and that was pretty epic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what I could teach someone, though I'm sure there's someone who could learn something from me. I am always interested In learning about other peoples lives, what makes them tick, where they've been, what it felt like to them, what they got out of it, how they are who they are. Nothing beats a really in depth conversation with an interesting person. I could possibly be considered an oversharer, there's not really anything I don't want to talk about, no taboo subjects or uncomfortable topics for me.
