ABOUT ME

Oh, this is quite an impossible task, isn't it? I'm not really just one person, we all differ in everybody elses eyes. And everything about me? I don't even know half of it!

But I guess I could say that I'm an observer, I like to watch the world (or read/look at things describing it or what it could be) and that I'm sometimes afraid of taking part in it.I like all things beautiful, and though it might sound a bit morbid, I'm really fascinated by death, I start my days reading obituaries and I always shed a tear if I find the ones that seems to have lived great lives. I like also love reading epitaphs, expecially the funny and witty ones!

But most of the time I live. I don't really stribe to be just happy, I want to experience as much as possible and feel as many diffrent feelings as there are. But I guess that feeling diffrent things makes me feel I'm getting where I want to, and that makes most people happy, so it's really a moment 22 kind of thing.

Oh, this presentation's no good, a bit messy I must say. I'll try and be less messy if and when we meet!

PHILOSOPHY

To quote Sheldon Cooper from the tv-series 'the big bang theory' : "We have to take in nourishment, expel waste, and inhale enough oxygen to keep our cells from dying. Everything else is optional."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am really rather new to this thing, but I think the idea of couchsurfing is fantastic! As soon as I've moved out of my parents house and in to my own place I'm ready to have surfers over. Right now I'm available to show you my hometown, the museums, buildings and anything you'd like or take you dancing and clubbing at night!
After I've moved to Paris I think I'm going to a lot of csmeets and gatherings, it seems to be a perfectly pleasant way to meet new people in a city were you know no one, I haven't been able to attend any of the sort here in Sweden.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one surfer, we knew each other a little before, through a diffrent communtity though, so it might not count! I'm ready to have my first experiences!

Interests

ooh, I love to get glimpses of other peoples minds! Wheter it's through reading a book, watch someone paint, go to museums, discuss philosophy, talk all night, look at old buildings. I'm really a bit tired of this whole modern thing, where you meet everyone online instead of out there, in the real world. Or to be more precise, I don't like it when IRLfriendships end up on facebook only, but the other way around is just fine! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read books about our world, or worlds similar, that has magic or fictional beeings it in it, like the dark matter triology by philip pullman, the narnia books, the neverending story by michael ende, harry potter. Everything by haruki murakami. Extremely loud and incredibly close and other books about passionate love and loss.
I also make sure I read some of the classics; oscar wilde, herman hesse, voltaire, proust, kafka. I try to read at least two books a month.

i love indiepop, mostly swedish bands like kent, broder daniel, the knife, honey is cool, fever ray, håkan hellström, timo räisänen.. but I also love bands like bright eyes, belle&sebastian, the magnetic fields.. It's so hard to name just a few, ask for a spotifylist if you're interested, they're really mixed!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always find it facinating to watch peoples styles of walking, there's so many ways of just putting one foot in front of the other. I always end up thinking about what sorts of lives they've lived and are living.

I like to have a good argument, I can argue for or against almost anything, it doesn't mean I actually have the opinion, just that I like to discuss with people that enjoy it too!
