ABOUT ME

Alex and Alana are a young couple living in Sunny San Diego. Both of us have a huge interest in other cultures and we both wish to see the world. We try to travel as much as we can.

We like to dress alternatively, and we both have colored hair. Alex has been playing guitar for 8 years. Alana is more artsy craftsy. She likes to create hair accessories and being a visual artist she loves photography, and painting. We also both like videogames.

We're pretty quiet at first but we warm up easily. We are both very clean and neat. We're really friendly and respectful. And we also love animals. We don't smoke cigarettes, we'll enjoy a drink or two. We have a fun sense of humor, and we are both very open minded.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe in having a positive outlook on life and doing as much as we can in the short time we have left. Live life to the fullest with no regrets. We keep our minds open and enjoy what life hands to us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once we get into our own place we would love to help and host CSers passing through the San Diego area. As of right now we can't offer that, but we do plan on giving back. For now we're surfing on couches, attending CS meetings. =]

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't experienced it yet. This would be our first time CSing! Can't wait to try it out!

We both have a huge range in tastes. We love anything from bright and bubbly to dark and mysterious. We love comedy, adventure, horror, and independent films. We both are huge fans of music. We both like to listen to Rock, Experimental, Electronic, Techno, Metal, Indie, Alternative, and Punk music.

Teach, Learn, Share

Alana can teach you how to do your hair or makeup, give her a pair of shears and she can cut your hair. Or Alex can give you a guitar lesson, or tell how you to get farther on a level on a videogame. We can cook meals and clean. You can teach me how you live your life as a local, take us around, give us some awesome hints or show us the hidden secrets. I will teach you about how I live my life as an american, and I also can share my experiences and we can learn from each others cultures.
