ABOUT ME

I hope to meet nearby travelers for a coffee or beer!

I studied Journalism and International relations in Brussels. Really love that melting pot city! After my studies I lived in England for a while where I worked as a consultant, which didn't have anything to do with my passions, except for the fact that I could improve my language skills. So I quit. After this little adventure, I decided to move to the Netherlands where I became a video journalist. Since then, I have worked and lived in west Africa and the Middle East.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything..Love watching movies and try to read a lot.
Movies I enjoyed: Chocolat, American History X, Inglorious Basters, The Bourne Trilogy, Amores Perros, Paris, Les poupes russes, the Hangover.
Music: Gypsie, Flamenco, Jazz, Techno, Balkan Beat, Rumba, Blues. Latest discovery: The Amazing Brothers, Caravan Palace, Chano Dominguez, Mumford and Sons. (This clearly needs updating:))

I could teach you how to ride a horse, bike or a dromedary. Some Dutch if you really don't have anything to do:) And of course I always take every chance to improve my Arabic.
