HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of right now, I'm unable to host people, but hopefully that should change in the near future. I'm available for a drink or so if anyone happens to be passing through. Always nice to hear some accents and ideas that aren't just Belfastian clones

Assuming the person or topic is interesting enough, I really enjoy just talking to people about anything and everything. Where they've come from, where they're going, random ideas, how much they hate Coldplay...

Really love music. Was raised on 60's and 70's kinda stuff, but listen to more or less anything. Naturally, I've a soft spot for the Beatles...but not the Stones! Along with Coldplay, they're the 2 most over-rated bands in the world. Feel free to dispute this with me over a Guinness if you find yourself in this part of the world.
I love to read, though I'm not as well read as I'd like to be. My literary spectrum isn't as diverse as my music, but I'm open to suggestions. Personal favourites include The Little Prince, Trainspotting, The Exorcist, anything by Shusaku Endo
I really love movies too, whether its a trashy slasher, cinematic classic, comedy or a Michel Gondry mindtwist. To name but a few: Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Garden State, Amélie, Star Wars Trilogy, Trainspotting, Shaun of the Dead, The Matrix, Grave of the Fireflies, anything Tarantino, Akira, Disney stuff, Battle Royale, Lady Vengeance, Closer, Secretary, Snatch, Waking Life

Moved from a place where everyone looks/thinks/acts/talks the same to a place where half of the people don't even speak the same language. Living and working with people from all over the world was amazing to say the least.

I watched the sun rise on the first day of spring on a beach with all my friends...good times
