when i was a kid my mom, who was a single mom moved around a bit and so did we..not too much but just enough to acclimate to the idea of impermenance in the world.. we were three my brother, mother, and I and no matter where we went, we were always home

they say i move like the wind, for although good at research and planning im open to the potential of the unexpected, and follow the flow which im on:)

PHILOSOPHY

the world is a circle(paraphrasing), circle of life, personal spheres of influence, perspective, realities....what goes around comes around, and even without that negativity and fear induced goodness... help out when you can, and when you can't and you need help, even if you dont expect it, eventually itll come around

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my mom and her boyfriend were always in a band together (on the side- shes an elementary school teacher as well) we would all (my brother, mom, her boyfriend, and i) go to rehersals at others houses and my brother and i would usually wind up sleeping on extra couches, floors (with blankets and forts and stuff).. we always went camping, and eventually started to go to the woodstock reunions, but when there i immediately went down to the free kitchen and started to help out (when i was around 10 or something), and were always at others houses or housing others throughout the years... my friends used to and still do come over just to crash because they always know that there will always be a spot for them....if theres physically a spot.. so ive always kind of had a commune-like mentality in life, and definitley try to teach, or just help others become aware...through example

tom robbins- even cowgirls get the blues, the fith element, the pixies, niel young, the magazines, 13th floor elevators, the animals, zombies, dantes the divine comedy, memoirs of a geisha- kindof because of this book i realized the effect that seemingly natural curtesies, or a little extra notification/understanding/relating.... and then the whatever to voice and share that commonality/curtesy/compliment and how much a seemingly unmemorable event for you can impact another...the riplles we make, and to me travelling is like my own personal sun showers on a lake
