About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn as many things as possible and get to know people. I want to learn Italian and learn how to cook... Everything. I dont want to have normal boring interactions. I will be a difference maker.

ABOUT ME

I am a very energetic person. I like to live everyday to the fullest and really hate to waste time. But what is a waste of time? (Not taking the opportunity to meet people or to talk with friends), going through life without interacting with others, that is a waste of time.

I love challenges, whether it be mental or physical. I feel at home beings outdoors and exploring. There are so many things I love and want to learn to do, the possibilities are nearly endless. I just want to make the most of myself and the time I have.

I absolutely love food: cooking it, baking it, and eating it. One of my favorite parts of travelling is trying the new cuisines and sometimes cooking with fellow surfers
I have degrees in biology and Spanish as well as TESOL certification. I really want to learn Italian next and travel more. Im a tad bit weird, but really who isnt?

PHILOSOPHY

To know God and to make Him known to others. I am a Christian and I live my life for Christ. He has blessed me so much, I want to share Him with others. I dont beleive in forcing others to do anything. I love to make friends and I love to get to know people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far it has been a wonderful time meeting and getting to know surfers from all over the world. I have met and stayed with a ton of people through couchsurfering and all have been amazing. Whether it be exploring the town together or just grabbing a beer. I Just want to keep meeting people, and when i return home after my travels I will be opening up my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travels in Europe: Spain, France, and England as we'll as Germany and Finland. Over 2 dozen different hosts and atleast 20 other people that I met because they were hosted at the same time. It has been amazing, by far one of the funnest times of my life. I have learned so much and am skeptical of nothing.

Interests

Cycling, swimming, running, hiking, climbing , and other outdoor activities.
Reading, learning languages, and other fun stuff.
Traveling and of course talking with people.
And cooking... food is life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love action, science fiction, and fantasy movies. Such as Lord of the Rings, the Bourne Series, and Harry potter are some of my favorite books and movies. I also love the espionage novels by Vince Flynn.

I believe there is no such thing as a bad book because we can learn a little something out of every book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ridden my bike across the state of Colorado with a few good friends. There is nothing quite like the exhilaration of descending a mountain pass at 70 mph on your bike with your best friends. I want to go on more adventures like this. Just the bike, some friends, and a tent. Just trying to keep things interesting.

Biked across southern spain up to southern france solo until my bike got stolen. It was a little over 1000km (i rode the train on some boring parts), and it really taught me a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe a few jokes, talking about my culture. I am an individual and have a unique set of stories and view point on the world. I also love to cook, so would be more than happy to cook something with you. To teach and to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my perspective as an American and I can share my language of English or Spanish. I am an English Professor and love talking with people in my language and trying to learn theirs.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Monaco, Norway, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
