About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"enjoy life, the best you can make of it!"

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Luleå. People that comes to our place most often think my dad is a farmer of some sort - and I say that to describe the nearest environment. ALOT of horses...nature :) A pretty intimate village, everybody knows everybody (kind-of).

I'm impulsive, happy, lazy in an active way and love going out with my friends drinking or traveling around to different festivals or events :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hakuna matata! I can only think of clichés anyway, that's as good as any other :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to let people know that If you decide to travel to the northern parts of Sweden and need someplace to sleep I can offer you a bunkbed - there's room for 4 at most :). It's my uncle's cabin, and it's open for everyone as long as they..."behave". Whatever that means concerning it's a place generally used for drinking huge amounts and playing poker ^^ Anyway, I want to participate in this because It's a great idea and I want to try as a couchsurfer myself soon :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We went to Oktoberfest 2007 and had a great couchsurfer hosting us there. Before that I had a guy surfing in the cabin and now I've had a beer with some more and just hosted another guy for a few days in the appartment I live in. The whole thing has been positive, you learn so many things about other people and yourself along the way :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to ALOT, but funk-pop-rock-country mixes is easily swallowed right now. Specific aint it? :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Romania around about 14, that was awesome. And a long time ago... Party at Oktoberfest in 2007, drinking and dancing on tables, havin really fun but weird afterparties. Beeing homeless in Paris for a night, meeting a Jerry Williams-lool-alike on the streets there and him letting us sleep at his place 9 floors up at 6 in the morning (no elevator) and then waking up to this amazing view of the eiffeltower from the window and the rooftop that we climbed up on too. I could've stayed there forever ^_^

Teach, Learn, Share

I've had a guy from France surfing my couch this weekend! It was so awesome.....eveything that normally happends around here just came together and happened at the same time! :D We hung around and met the local weirdos, partyed and sauna-bathed. Everything became so much funnier because the things YOU are used to may be completely new to your visitor. Like Pressing the saun up to 50-60 degrees (almost not beeing able to breath because of the heat) and then running out and rolling in the snow ^^.

The other thing is, when spending a couple of days with someone from another culture, you can't avoid seeing things in a new way - you get influenced and I bet it helps to take away the prejudices you may have about the actual country or people that your couchsurfer comes from.

That's what's so great about this project - people get a new entrance to the world :D
