I plan on travelling abroad for the first time and hoping all goes well. I am a Water Resources Engineering Technologist by trade and an adventurer by heart. I grew up on a small farm in rural Saskatchewan. Worked labor until I decided to go back to school and get a diploma which brought me to Kamloops BC where I currently reside.

I'm couch surfing because I want to be able to meet people that know the area I am in and maybe be able to do a small adventure with some locals. I am also trying to make my trip as long as possible. I will be sleeping in my tent for months on end so any couch or air bed would be a treat.

I love hiking, whether it be a small day trip or a week long excursion I absolutely love getting out there and basking in the beauty of the planet. I bought my first professional camera this year which I am trying to learn how to use before my journey begins in July. I love to fish, I love to talk , I love to listen, I love to learn!

I listen to almost all music with the exception of punk, death metal, and country... everything else is great! Haven't been doing much reading lately with the exception of boring text books but my favorites would be The Lord of T he Rings and The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Love a good fantasy adventure! I tend to watch movies of all sorts but not a huge fan of gore/horror.
