I live in Bellingham, Washington, which is located on a bay between Seattle and Vancouver, Canada. I have been self employed for many years. I am a Certified Public Accountant, which is similar to a Chartered Accountant in many other English speaking countries. I have been a member of Rotary for 30 years and enjoy visiting Rotary Clubs in other countries. I love traveling and travel as much as possible. I have had the opportunity to learn and use Spanish, French and Italian but unfortunately don't use them enough to maintain them well still.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first lived overseas when I was 18 years old and I have enjoyed meeting people from other countries and cultures since then. The best way to experience a new place is by meeting the people who live there. I am also happy to share my community with visitors.

I will travel, explore new places, and meet new people around the world for as many years as possible.

Interests

Traveling has been a major part of my life since I was young. Going hand in hand with travel is learning about the different foods and drinks of other regions. I am always looking for new foods to try, whether I am near home or in other parts of the world. In fact, experiencing new foods is one of the good things about travel.

I like most kinds of music and movies. I like reading newspapers from around the world, learning what is happening elsewhere and learning other people's perspectives.
