I travel the world cooking and writing. I am willing to sleep on the beach or the roof. I will gladly bungee jump, skydive, shark dive or spend the day lounging on the beach. Expired dive master, former Paratrooper. I prefer dive restaurants or bars to higher end places. I love to cook for people, and to learn their foods. I am dying to live.

There is very little I am NOT interested in. I do not like Rap music except rarely, I do not quilt (but I do find them beautiful), and I have a hard time eating beef and lamb liver. Other than that, I'm in!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As an early teen, I felt compelled reach into a large pile of fresh cut wheat without knowing as to why I was doing it. I reached my arm in, and closed my fist. When I pulled it out, I opened my hand, and in my palm was a diamond wedding ring. I didn't realize that the guy whose truck it was had lost the ring off his neck, from his recently deceased wife. It was one of the most spiritual moments I've ever had.
