About Me

Brazilian Writer, sometimes traveling abroad to Books Fairs.
I like to walk hours and hours while visiting new places, or re-visiting the older ones.
I love to talk and exchange cultures, knowing people, taking photos, sharing experiences.

My website (it is under changes, but you can find several links to my works -and my life ) there.
www.custodio.net

Writers, sometimes, used to visit some odd and dark aspects of the world, but personally, I 'm much more intended to enjoy the bright, healthy and daylight aspects of life.
I do not smoke, but I love wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new on this site.
I live in a calm suburb of São Paulo, a 12 million people city, a big concrete jungle.
At the moment, I'm not hosting but, certainly, I'll host in the future.

Of course, the first goal here is to meet people and sharing experiences.
Sometimes the best of the trip is to talk to people, learning from others points of view while drinking a coffee, wine or beer.

When we are traveling, the places are the landscapes: we can have sightseeing, taking photos and have some breathtaking views.
But what makes the travel precious is to go beyond the landscape and dig the real gold: the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: eclectic. Jazz, blues, Brazilian music, Classical and R&B.
Also open to new styles.

Books: also eclectic, from history books for my researches to classic books or some easy bestseller to spend time.
European graphic novels are great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hm... wrote and drew a biographic comic book about Anita Garibaldi and books for children.

I also played in a Brazilian National Football team, but it was a writer's Brazilian team, so the team REALLY was not THAT good... NEITHER I.
:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is a whole life process.
Every person we meet in life can teach us, and we can do the same. Windows opened to life.
Maybe I can teach something about my country. Music, art, history.
I can teach you how to draw some cartoons.

I like to run or do sports.
And, if I can, I'll put a football game on the trip plan, because football is one of the universal human interaction.
If you know some regular players in your city, let me know.:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Small talks. Show drawings. I can draw something personal too, as a gift.
Do you want your caricature?
