My name is Panagiota, I come from Greece but I currenlty live in Portugal, doing my internship. I am a curious traveler who (yet has a lot to explore but) is looking forward to collecting cultural pieces and establishing meaningful connections with people and places. I enjoy smiley people, listening to interesting stories, taking night walks, exploring alternative parts of the cities I am visiting, I like arts, food and diversity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my first trip abroad I realised how important opening to the world is, as a whole new mindset suddenly emerged, providing me with unlimited resourcefulness and stimulation. I am a rookie surfer, I have been traveling for 3 years now, using the conventional ways, and I think it's high time to broaden my experience by spending more quality time with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and cinema are essential for me. I am mostly listening to electronic forms of music with interesting basslines, but when it comes to live musicians I prefer jazz and rock,( it surely depends on the mood and usually when I am really happy I to listen to balkan music).
I cannot really select my favorite films, I prefer directors such as Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Lars Von Trier, Kieslowski, Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, Kusturica and many many more...
